Shipping Policy

Spirit Fire Tobacco Co. is committed to delivering your orders safely and efficiently. Please review our shipping policy to understand our delivery process, timelines, and requirements.

1. Shipping Locations

We currently ship tobacco products only to addresses within Canada. We do not ship to:

  • International addresses (outside Canada)
  • PO boxes or postal boxes
  • Military bases or APO/FPO addresses

All shipments require an adult signature upon delivery to comply with tobacco regulations.

2. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. Processing time may be longer during:

  • Peak seasons and holidays
  • High-volume sales periods
  • Weekends and statutory holidays

You will receive an email confirmation when your order is processed and another when it ships, including tracking information.

3. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times vary by location and shipping method:

Standard Shipping

  • Ontario, Quebec: 3-5 business days
  • Western provinces (BC, AB, SK, MB): 4-7 business days
  • Atlantic provinces (NB, NS, PE, NL): 5-8 business days
  • Northern territories (YT, NT, NU): 7-14 business days

Express Shipping

  • Most major cities: 1-3 business days
  • Remote areas: 3-5 business days

Note: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Actual delivery may vary due to weather conditions, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight. We offer:

  • Free Standard Shipping on orders over $150
  • Flat-rate Standard Shipping on orders under $150
  • Express Shipping available at an additional cost

Shipping costs are displayed before you complete your purchase, with no hidden fees.

5. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive:

  • Shipping confirmation email with tracking number
  • Link to track your package with the carrier
  • Estimated delivery date

You can also track your order by logging into your account and viewing your order history. Tracking information is typically available within 24 hours of shipment.

6. Age Verification at Delivery

All tobacco product shipments require adult signature confirmation. The delivery carrier will:

  • Verify the recipient is of legal smoking age
  • Require government-issued photo ID
  • Obtain a signature from an adult (19+ or 18+ depending on province)

If no one is available to sign for the package, the carrier will leave a notice with instructions for pickup or redelivery. Packages cannot be left unattended.

7. Shipping Carriers

We partner with trusted Canadian shipping carriers including Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, and Purolator. The carrier for your order will be selected based on your location and shipping method chosen at checkout.

8. Delivery Issues

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your package is marked as delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Check with neighbors or building management
  • Verify the delivery address on your order
  • Contact the shipping carrier directly
  • Contact us within 48 hours of the delivery date

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  • Take photos of the damaged package and contents
  • Note any damage on the delivery receipt
  • Contact us immediately with photos and your order number
  • Do not discard the damaged packaging until instructed

Delayed Shipments

If your order is significantly delayed beyond the estimated delivery date, please contact us with your order number and tracking information. We will work with the carrier to locate your package and provide updates.

9. Incorrect Shipping Address

Please ensure your shipping address is accurate before completing your order. If you need to change your shipping address:

  • Contact us immediately if your order has not yet shipped
  • We cannot change the address once the package is in transit
  • Address changes may delay your order

We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Additional shipping fees may apply for reshipment to a corrected address.

10. Customs and Duties

As we only ship within Canada, there are no customs duties or international fees. All prices displayed include applicable Canadian taxes.
